Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure the achievement of production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role drives operational excellence through effective production planning, workforce management, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. The Production Manager plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing productivity, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting business growth through efficient and sustainable operations.

Job Description

• Lead and manage daily production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery requirements.

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to maximize operational efficiency.

• Monitor production performance, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company operational policies.

• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Planning teams to support manufacturing objectives.

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, process issues, and performance gaps in a timely manner.

• Manage workforce planning, including staffing, training, performance management, and employee development.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and productivity improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Control production costs, material utilization, and operational expenditures while maintaining product quality.

• Support new product introduction (NPI), process transfers, and manufacturing scale-up activities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of production management principles, manufacturing processes, and operational excellence practices.

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, semiconductor, automotive electronics, or high-volume production environments is preferred.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and drive employee engagement.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to work in a multinational environment.
