Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing functions.

• Knowledge of supplier management, cost analysis, and negotiation techniques.

• Experience in VA/VE, cost reduction, or strategic sourcing activities is an advantage.

• Good command of English in speaking, reading, and writing.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly responsible.

• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.

Job description

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure competitive cost, quality, and delivery performance. 

• Manage purchasing activities and issue Purchase Orders (POs) according to production and project requirements. 

• Conduct supplier pricing negotiations and establish favorable commercial terms. 

• Monitor and assess supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). 

• Drive cost reduction projects through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) and process improvement initiatives. 

• Analyze material costs, market trends, and supplier quotations to support strategic sourcing decisions. 

• Prepare RFQs, collect quotations, and perform commercial and technical comparisons. 

• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement operations. 

• Support new product development activities by sourcing suitable materials and suppliers. 

• Maintain purchasing records, pricing databases, and supplier documentation.
