Japan Security Head/Manager - CISO

This a Japan Security leader opportunity directly reporting to the Regional Security Head based in APAC. Business English & Business Japanese is mandatory.

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Leader to oversee cybersecurity governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and security transformation initiatives for a Japan-based business within a global organization. This role will serve as the key security advisor to local leadership while partnering closely with regional and global security teams to strengthen cyber resilience and drive security maturity.

Proven experience leading information security programs within a large enterprise, preferably in a Financial or regulated industry.
Strong cybersecurity expertise across risk management, security governance, security operations, incident response, and security assurance.
Experience working with regulatory requirements and information security compliance in Japan.
Practical knowledge of cloud technologies, cloud security, secure software development, DevSecOps, and data protection controls.
Experience managing cybersecurity transformation, security control implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
