Job Title: Senior Business Analyst for Japan Corporate Real Estate Technology

Job/Group Overview:
The Corporate Real Estate Technology (CRES IT) team is a global function across Japan, India, the UK, and the US. We work with XXXXX’s Corporate Real Estate organization to deliver and support in-house and SaaS solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst based in Tokyo to support Japan as the primary business area, with additional responsibility for APAC initiatives. The role will act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, global stakeholders, and vendors. You will analyze business needs, define requirements, improve processes, and support the implementation and operation of technology solutions.

東京拠点で、日本を主な担当領域とし、APAC施策も支援するシニアビジネスアナリストを募集します。業務ユーザー、ITチーム、グローバル関係者、ベンダーの橋渡し役として、業務ニーズの把握、要件定義、業務改善、システム導入・運用支援を担当します。

2) Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary business analysis contact for Japan and support APAC initiatives as needed.
• Understand business needs and analyze current processes, mainly for Japan.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose practical solutions.
• Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
• Create process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a liaison between Japan business users, IT teams, global teams, and vendors.
• Support solution design, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze application issues and coordinate with IT and vendors to resolve them.
• Support data analysis, reporting, user training, and solution adoption.
• Review vendor and offshore deliverables to ensure requirements are met.
• Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with governance and information security requirements.

3) Requirements (indicate mandatory and/or preferred):

Skills and Experience — Essential

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience supporting business users and technology initiatives in Japan.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional specification.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Experience creating process flows, user stories, use cases, and test scenarios.
• Experience supporting system implementation, enhancement, testing, and production support.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, and cloud/SaaS solutions.
• Experience working with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Native Japanese and business-level English.
• Experience working with global or cross-cultural teams.
• Understanding of governance and information security requirements.

• 日本語ネイティブ、英語ビジネスレベル。
• グローバルまたは異文化チームでの業務経験。
ガバナンスおよび情報セキュリティ要件に関する理解。

Skills and Experience — Desirable

• Knowledge of corporate real estate, facilities, or workplace management in Japan.
• Experience with related SaaS solutions.
• Experience supporting APAC or multinational teams.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Business analysis or related certifications, such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
