Senior Legal Executive

A rapidly expanding international technology business with a strong presence across Asia. The company is developing its operations through digital services, new ventures, and cross-border growth, with increasing use of AI across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters for the Japan business and group entities
• Prepare and assess agreements, while advising internal teams on legal risks and practical solutions
• Support corporate governance matters, including management and shareholder-related processes
• Provide legal input on acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and new business initiatives
• Coordinate corporate filings and work with external professional advisors
• Help drive the adoption of AI and technology to improve the efficiency and quality of legal operations

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm
• Fluent Japanese and English language abilities
• Strong interest in generative AI and applying technology to legal work
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working with international teams and overseas stakeholders
