Location-Manesar

• Proven experience leading automotive Design and Testing teams at Manager / HOD level.
• Experience or sound product knowledge in at least one of the following: Control Cables, Window Regulators, or other automotive mechanical products.
• Manage the full development cycle from customer requirements and feasibility through design, prototype, validation, customer approval, PPAP, and SOP.
• Review 2D/3D drawings, GD&T, specifications, materials, BOMs, design calculations, test plans, and validation results.
• Apply APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, design reviews, lessons learned, and ECR/ECN control to manage product risks and changes.
• Lead the Design and Testing teams by setting priorities, allocating resources, monitoring schedules, and developing team capability.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for design, testing, production, and customer-related problems.
• Ensure controlled release and revision management of drawings, BOMs, test reports, and confidential customer technical information.
• Coordinate technical activities with customers, companies, Sales, Quality, PE, Manufacturing, Purchase, and suppliers.
• Communicate effectively in English and review or approve technical deliverables within the assigned authority.
• End-to-end product development experience is essential; drafting-only or manufacturing-only experience is not sufficient.

• Direct experience with Control Cables or Window Regulators. 
• Experience working with Japanese OEMs or Japanese Tier-1 suppliers.
• Experience coordinating with global or overseas engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD, PLM, ERP, or drawing management systems
• Experience managing validation laboratories and durability, environmental, strength, friction, wear, or NVH testing.
• Experience in VA/VE, localization, benchmarking, and cost-reduction activities.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 audits and customer-specific requirements.
• Reports to the Design & Testing AVP.
• Based in Gurgaon–Manesar; domestic and overseas travel may be required.
