【Position Overview】
As a Front‑End Engineer, you will contribute to a wide range of digital experiences—from e‑commerce platforms and mobile applications to interactive websites and campaign pages. You will play a key role in building visually compelling, high‑performance user interfaces across multiple projects.

【Key Responsibilities】

• Work on projects targeting inbound tourists and initiatives involving Japanese traditional crafts (including well‑known knife brands), while also engaging in broader creative assignments.
• Collaborate closely with designers, fellow front‑end engineers, and back‑end engineers to build custom solutions on Shopify and integrate modern web technologies.
• Develop responsive layouts, implement interactive UI/UX features using modern frameworks, and optimize performance to deliver seamless user experiences.

You will join our Engineer division, where engineers, designers, and marketers work in tight collaboration.

【Employment Type】
Full‑time employee (Permanent)
Probation period: 6 months (no change in salary or benefits)

【Compensation】

Annual salary: ¥4.2M–¥8.5M
Monthly salary: ¥300,000–¥600,000 + bonuses
Salary determined based on experience and capability
Bonuses:General employees: 2 times/year
Comprehensive/managerial roles: 3 times/year
Salary increases: Conducted based on performance

【Work Location】

【Working Hours】
Flextime System (8 hours actual work)
- Start time: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- End time: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Core hours (mandatory working hours): 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Average overtime: ~10 hours/month

Required Qualifications

・3+ years of professional front‑end development experience
・Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
・Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Webflow
・Strong design sensibility and ability to create appealing UI
・Knowledge of animation libraries/tools (e.g., GSAP)
・Ability to build responsive/adaptive layouts
・Business‑level English (daily use expected)
・Japanese: daily conversational level
・High school diploma or above
・Valid work authorization in Japan (or ability to obtain)
