PR/097455 | Sales Manager (Chemical Raw Material)

Our client, a leading ASEAN-based distributor of specialty materials and industrial raw materials, is hiring a Sales Manager to drive the growth of its plastic resin and chemical raw material business. The role will lead business development and account management activities for raw material sales across the semiconductor and medical device markets, while growing market share for plastic raw materials among plastic moulders in Batam, Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead the sales of raw materials to semiconductor and medical device manufacturers by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing customers.

• Build and oversee the plastic raw material business with plastic moulding companies in Batam, requiring regular travel and active engagement with customers on-site.

• Act as the primary liaison between suppliers/principals and customers, providing both technical and commercial support on product specifications, qualification processes, and supply matters.

• Achieve sales revenue and profitability objectives through effective account management, accurate forecasting, and delivery against budget targets.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within a relevant industry.

• Experience within the semiconductor, medical device, specialty chemicals, or raw material distribution industries.

• Strong industry network and established contacts within the semiconductor and/or medical device manufacturing ecosystem.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and manage accounts across Singapore and Batam.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
