Our client, a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their expanding legal department. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal advice and solutions within a multifaceted global organization, balancing Japanese business demands with global alignment. Key Responsibilities:


- Provide legal advice on insurance transactions
- Review and draft contracts and legal documents
- Manage external law firms
- Address amendments to laws and regulations
- Investigate and resolve potential legal issues


Qualifications:


- 5+ years PQE legal experience in regulated industry
- Qualified lawyer (bengoshi or foreign bar)
- Native Japanese, business English
- Experience with insurance law and transactions
- Experience managing external law firms
- Familiarity with Japanese business regulations

法律アドバイスの提供：保険取引に関する法律相談を提供します。
契約書及び法的文書のレビューと作成：法的観点からの文書作成を行います。
外部法律事務所の管理：外部法律事務所との連携を図り、最適な成果を目指します。
法令改正への対応：関連する法令の改正を迅速に把握し、対応策を講じます。
法的問題の調査と解決：潜在的な法的問題を調査し、解決策を提供します。


応募資格：


規制業界における5年以上の法務経験
弁護士資格（日本または外国資格）
ネイティブレベルの日本語、ビジネスレベルの英語
保険法および取引の経験
外部法律事務所の管理経験
日本のビジネス規制に精通していること
