Join a leading global investment bank as the Head of Corporate Finance Japan, leading one of the firm's most strategic Investment Banking businesses in the Japanese market. This executive-level position offers the opportunity to advise Japan's largest corporations on complex M&A, Corporate Finance, Capital Raising, and Cross-Border Advisory transactions while leveraging the firm's global expertise across Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, and TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications).

You will drive business growth, build long-term executive relationships, and collaborate with global sector bankers and product specialists to deliver world-class advisory solutions.

• Lead and grow the Japan Corporate Finance Advisory franchise, driving long-term business strategy and revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, boards, and senior decision-makers at Japan's leading corporations.
• Originate and execute strategic advisory mandates across M&A, Corporate Finance, Capital Raising, and Cross-Border Transactions.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financing strategies, and long-term corporate development initiatives.
• Partner with global industry coverage teams and product specialists to deliver integrated advisory and financing solutions.
• Expand the firm's market presence across Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, and TMT sectors.
• Represent the bank as a senior strategic advisor within the Japanese market while contributing to the continued growth of the global Investment Banking franchise.
• Mentor and develop junior bankers while fostering a high-performance advisory culture.

• IBD、コーポレートファイナンス、M&Aアドバイザリー、またはコーポレートカバレッジの経験15年以上

• 15+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory, or Corporate Coverage within an international financial institution.
• Proven track record of originating and leading complex domestic and cross-border Corporate Finance transactions.
• Extensive experience advising large corporate clients on M&A, capital raising, corporate development, and strategic transactions.
• Established relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across major Japanese corporate groups.
• Deep sector expertise within Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) or other capital-intensive industries.
• Demonstrated success leading high-value advisory mandates and business development initiatives.

• Previous advisory experience within the Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, or TMT sectors.
• Experience managing complex international transactions alongside global coverage and product teams.
• Strong reputation within Japan's corporate finance and investment banking community.
• MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience leading large investment banking teams or business units.
