Qualifications:    

Bachelor’s degree in Logistic & Supply Chain Management, engineering or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing functions within a manufacturing environment. 

Strong experience in sourcing and purchasing both direct and indirect materials. 

 Experience in managing suppliers for raw materials, components, packaging materials, or production-related items. 

Strong knowledge of supplier selection, contract management, cost reduction, and procurement processes. 

Bility to plan purchasing activities, monitor delivery performance, and ensure supply continuity. 

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines. 

Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. 

Able to communicate effectively in English for daily business operations and negotiations with international suppliers.

Job description

Responsible for managing both Direct Material and Indirect Material purchasing activities to support business operations and production requirements. 

Conduct supplier sourcing, supplier evaluation, RFQ/RFP processes, quotation comparison, price negotiation, and supplier selection. 

Manage procurement activities for raw materials, components, packaging materials, and operational supplies to ensure timely delivery and cost competitiveness. 

Analyze material costs, monitor market trends, and perform cost breakdown analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities. 

Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with suppliers to achieve targets in cost, quality, delivery, and service. 

Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), monitor order status, and ensure on-time delivery according to production schedules and business requirements. 

Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Planning, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering to resolve supply-related issues. 

 Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to improve supplier quality and delivery performance.
