Senior Interpreter (Japanese-speaking JLPT N3 or above)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Alternate Saturday working)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Interpreter to support communication within a Japanese manufacturing company. This role will primarily assist the Japanese Deputy General Manager of the Production Department (expatriate) by providing accurate interpretation and translation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Japanese–Thai interpretation between Japanese production managers and Thai staff.

• Interpret during: Production meetings, Quality discussions, Improvement (Kaizen) meetings, On-site production activities.

• Translate emails, reports, and various business documents.

• Support translation of documents related to: Production, Quality control, Sales operations.

• Assist in interpretation for meetings or discussions requested by: 

• Act as a communication bridge to ensure smooth coordination between Japanese and Thai teams.

Qualifications:

• JLPT N3 or above (N2 or higher preferred)

• Experience as an interpreter in a Japanese manufacturing environment

• Strong Japanese–Thai language proficiency (spoken and written)

• Good understanding or interest in Japanese culture and manufacturing operations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
