Are you an experienced Cloud Engineer looking to work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies in Japan? We are seeking a bilingual Cloud Engineer to support and optimise large-scale, mission-critical cloud platforms for a global telecommunications leader.

Based in Tokyo, you'll play a key role in designing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise cloud infrastructure while working with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure, and DevOps technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with international engineering teams, improve highly available production environments, and develop your expertise in modern cloud operations.

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical production systems.
• Administer and optimise container platforms including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related cloud technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents to ensure high availability and platform reliability.
• Execute infrastructure changes while adhering to strict Change Control and operational governance procedures.
• Automate operational processes using Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to continuously improve cloud platform performance and operational efficiency.
• Participate in a 24/7 production support rotation, including shift work and weekend support as required.

• Ansible、PuppetなどIaC・構成管理ツールの利用経験
• Python、Go、Java、Rubyなどによるプログラミングまたはスクリプト開発経験
• 大規模本番環境での運用・障害対応経験

• 4-6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience is also advantageous).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or other enterprise container orchestration platforms.
• Solid Linux system administration experience with Red Hat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Programming or scripting experience using languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments and resolving critical infrastructure incidents.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within multicultural, global environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in mission-critical production environments.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to operational quality and continuous improvement.

• Experience supporting telecommunications or other large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation best practices.
• Experience with production monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation tools.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working within global organisations using ITIL or structured operational processes.

• Competitive hourly rate of ¥5,000-¥6,000.
