PR/119288 | SENIOR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – Chemical for Personal Care & Cosmetics

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Senior Technical Specialist to drive personal care laboratory operations by providing technical sales support, laboratory testing, and formulation expertise. This role focuses on the development and application of personal care ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Follow good laboratory practices and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and screen personal care formulations using specialty ingredients
• Create new prototypes to support customer projects and technical concepts
• Conduct stability, performance, sensory, and compatibility testing on formulations
• Plan and execute formulation-related testing for internal and customer projects
• Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to sales and customers
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver timely technical reports and presentations
• Manage laboratory inventory, documentation, and raw material procurement
• Support marketing, training, and customer activities through prototype demos

• Maintain laboratory equipment, housekeeping, and technical documentation

   

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in personal care R&D, formulation, or technical support
• Strong knowledge of hair care, skin care, sun care, oral care, or home care applications
• Proven ability to work independently with a proactive and solution-driven mindset
• Hands-on experience with formulation testing and analytical instruments preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); Thai language is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~30%)
