IT Application & Operations Support Engineer (N2~)

A Global Manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced IT Application & Operations Support Engineer to support enterprise-wide application planning, IT project execution, and operational governance within its IT division.
This position focuses on managing enterprise application environments, driving IT projects, coordinating external vendors, and ensuring operational alignment with global IT standards, security policies, and internal governance frameworks. The role combines application management, project coordination, service operations, and stakeholder engagement responsibilities in a collaborative global environment supporting manufacturing and corporate business functions.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and propose IT application solutions that support company-wide business operations and process improvements
- Coordinate system implementation projects, including application development and package deployments
- Ensure enterprise applications align with Daimler Truck IT roadmaps, security standards, and internal control requirements
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology improvements across the application landscape
- Lead and coordinate multiple IT projects simultaneously across business and operational domains
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to define requirements and implementation strategies
- Monitor project progress, risks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
- Support future-ready system modernization initiatives aligned with organizational transformation goals
- Manage day-to-day system operations including incident management, problem management, and change management activities
- Coordinate outsourced service providers and operational vendors to ensure stable service delivery and SLA adherence
- Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and external partners
- Establish and improve operational procedures, governance processes, and service quality standards

- Min 5+ years of professional exp in IT, with exposure to Enterprise application, IT Ops, or Infrastructure environment
- Exp with enterprise application projects, system implementation or business system operations
- Knowledge of Project Management/coordination such as Internal control, budgeting, operations process management
