Our client, a world-leading air conditioning equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Finance Lead for their Tokyo office. This role offers the opportunity to oversee all aspects of accounting and finance, providing strategic financial insights and collaborating with senior leaders to support decision-making and long-term planning. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Provide strategic financial insights based on market and customer trends
- Manage communication with headquarters finance department
- Support decision-making with Managing Director and business leaders
- Manage and develop finance and business support teams
- Monitor cash flow, inventory, and financial risks
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external stakeholders
- Analyze business performance for financial strategy development
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies


Qualifications:

- 10+ years of finance experience
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Business-level English proficiency
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience managing HR, labor, finance, and general affairs in 50+ employee company
- Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 or higher
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central is preferred but not mandatory
