Our client, a global leader in high-performance data centers, is seeking a Costing Manager to oversee budgeting and cost control for data center construction projects in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while ensuring financial discipline and minimizing budget overruns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop cost estimates using Japanese unit pricing methods
- Monitor project budgets and address cost deviations
- Manage contract compliance with Japanese law and standards
- Conduct value engineering and periodic cost audits
- Handle contractual claims and negotiations with contractors
- Coordinate with design teams to align project budgets
- Prepare change orders and conduct cost variance analysis

- 予算策定および日本の単価方式を用いたコスト見積の作成
- プロジェクト予算の監視とコスト管理
- 契約遵守の管理（日本の法律および基準に基づく）
- バリューエンジニアリングの実施および定期的なコスト監査
- 契約上のクレーム処理や施工業者との交渉
- 設計チームと連携した予算調整
- 変更注文の作成およびコスト差異分析


Qualifications:

- Degree in Cost Engineering, Civil/Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
- Experience in cost control for Japanese construction projects
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) and fluent English
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cost control principles and methods
- Experience with Japanese cost estimating software (KENPLAN, D-Cube)
- Valid work authorization for Japan
- Experience with international cost estimating tools (CostX, RSMeans, Primavera, Excel)
- Professional certification (AACE or 建設コスト管理士) is preferred but not mandatory

- コストエンジニアリング、土木/建築工学、または建設管理の学位取得者
- 日本の建設プロジェクトでのコスト管理経験
- ビジネスレベルの日本語能力（JLPT N2相当）および流暢な英語力
- 日本のコスト管理原則と方法に関する深い知識
- KENPLAN、D-Cubeなどのコスト見積ソフトウェアの使用経験
- 日本での就労資格
- 国際的なコスト見積ツール（CostX、RSMeans、Primavera、Excel）の使用経験
- AACEまたは建設コスト管理士の資格をお持ちの方は尚可
