Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate budgets and forecasts, monitor variances, and identify risks and opportunities
• Analyse financial performance of projects and provide actionable insights
• Execute monthly and annual closing activities in line with German and Japan GAAP
• Ensure compliance with local and corporate financial policies and reporting standards
• Strengthen financial controls and ensure proper use of systems and tools
• Collaborate with business partners to address financial deviations and drive accountability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• More than 3 years of experience in finance (controlling, accounting, or auditing)
• Knowledge of accounting and controlling
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with financial reporting in multinational companies
• Prior experience with financial systems/software (SAP, etc.)
• Proven experience in applying AI tools in finance
• Understanding of German GAAP and/or Japanese GAAP
• Knowledge Of GenAI
