Senior Cybersecurity Engineer シニアサイバーセキュリティエンジニア - Bilingual (Japanese/English) | Fully Remote


Our client, a Fortune 500 company with six leading retail brands, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a fully remote position requiring Japanese and English bilingual skills. This role offers the opportunity to be the primary engineering and administrative lead for critical cybersecurity tools in Japan, working closely with a global cybersecurity team. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work with occasional on-site requirements in Chiba.


Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and troubleshoot enterprise cybersecurity tools
- Respond to incident tickets and cybersecurity inquiries
- Identify and implement automation opportunities in cybersecurity
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and SOX regulations
- Lead cybersecurity engineering efforts for Japan operations
- Collaborate with global cybersecurity team
- Support vulnerability management and vendor risk assessments


Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience in senior cybersecurity engineering role
- Hands-on experience with Password Management, CASB, EDR, DLP, WAF
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
- Must reside in Japan
- Experience with PCI DSS and SOX compliance
- Knowledge of cybersecurity automation and continuous improvement
- Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CompTIA Security+) is preferred but not mandatory
