Our client, a leading company in the retail industry focusing on sports-related products, is seeking an Accountant with Big 4 or consulting experience for a hybrid role in Tokyo. This permanent position offers the chance to transition from consulting to an in-house role, working closely with the CFO to ensure financial compliance and asset security. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate financial data and statements
- Ensure financial, tax, and administrative compliance
- Implement global financial strategies and transformation projects
- Perform risk management duties
- Secure company's financial assets


Qualifications:

- 3+ years in Big 4 audit firm
- Corporate accounting experience in Japan
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Business-level English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Experience with financial tools and taxation
- Experience in risk management duties
- Experience in implementing financial strategies
