COMPANY OVERVIEW

A leading global investment platform seeking a proactive and analytical VP of Business Development to support our capital-raising and investor engagement initiatives. This individual will play a key role in researching and identifying potential investors, mapping decision-making hierarchies, and coordinating investor interactions for the firm’s senior leadership team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct in-depth research on institutional investors, including family offices, external asset managers, endowments, fund-of-funds, and pension or insurance entities.

• Identify and qualify key decision makers—such as CIOs, portfolio managers, and heads of alternatives—within target organizations.

• Initiate outreach and coordinate meetings between potential investors and senior management.

• Prepare investor materials, briefing notes, and follow-up documentation for meetings and presentations.

• Maintain comprehensive CRM records and investor engagement tracking.

• Support the planning and execution of investor roadshows, webinars, and industry events.

• Collaborate with investment and marketing teams to ensure alignment between outreach efforts and fund positioning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, investor relations, client coverage, or financial research—preferably within asset management, private markets, or investment banking.

• Strong research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify relevant investors and assess institutional mandates.

• Familiarity with private credit, private equity, or real estate investment concepts.
