AV Consultant

About the Role: 
As part of systemsGo’s continued growth in Japan, we are seeking an experienced AV Consultant to join our Tokyo-based team. This role will focus on expanding our AV design and consulting capabilities, supporting enterprise clients across sectors including corporate, education, and government. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and client stakeholders (including PM, design and construction partners) to deliver high-quality AV solutions aligned with systemsGo’s commitment to technical excellence and service integrity. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead AV system design and consultancy for new build and retrofit projects. 

• Translate client requirements into scalable, standards-compliant AV solutions. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery. 

• Provide technical documentation, system schematics, and scope-of-work definitions. 

• Support presales efforts with solution design, BOQ development, and client presentations. 

• Conduct site assessments and participate in commissioning and handover processes. 

• Stay current with AV technology trends and certifications (e.g., Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron). 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• 5+ years in AV consulting, design, or systems integration. 

• Strong knowledge of AV system architecture, signal flow, and control systems. 

• Experience with enterprise-grade platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms). 

• Certifications in Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, or AMX preferred. 

• Fluent in English, Business Japanese a plus. 

• Strong documentation and client-facing communication skills.
