Junior Test Manager

Role& Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements and prepare test plans.
• Create and review test cases and test scenarios.
• Co-ordinate and perform testing (functional, regression, smoke testing).
• Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress.
• Track defects and follow up with developers for fixes.
• Prepare daily/weekly status reports.
• Participate in client meetings.
• Ensure testing is completed within timelines.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Maintain test documentation

Basic Testing Knowledge Required:

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Knowledge of:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Smoke & Sanity Testing
• System Testing
• UAT Support
• Experience in defect tracking tools (like JIRA or similar).
• Basic knowledge of test case writing.
• Understanding of test scenarios and test execution process.
• Ability to identify and report bugs clearly.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / IT or related field.
