Financial Accountant (Single Entity)

They are looking for an accountant to play a central role in executing and supporting all aspects of the company’s financial closing processes. There is also a chance to be assigned to projects involving new business initiatives, the establishment of subsidiaries, or M&A activities, giving you the opportunity to expand your experience across a wide range of new business areas.

What You Will Do

- Monthly and annual financial closing operations
- Planning and proposing solutions for tax-related matters
- Liaising with external auditors and handling audit processes
- Preparing management accounting materials (such as budgets and project-level P&L reports)

Requirements (Must-Have)

- Experience with monthly closing processes
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Knowledge equivalent to Level 2 of the Japanese Bookkeeping Certification (Nissho Boki Level 2)

Language Skills:
- Japanese: Full professional proficiency

- Accounting experience at a publicly listed company or a company with approximately 100+ employees
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Licensed Tax Accountant (Zeirishi) – or partial qualification
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior staff
