Company Overview

A company in the software development industry is hiring for a Junior – Middle IT Comtor (R&D) position.

Job Description

• Serve as the communication bridge between Vietnamese engineers and Japanese Project Managers, ensuring accurate interpretation and translation to avoid misunderstandings.

• Support communication and information sharing throughout all phases of the software development process, including requirement definition, design, development, testing, and release.

• Monitor and manage project progress to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.

• Identify, track, and report issues or challenges that arise during project implementation, facilitating timely resolution.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth coordination and transparency across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.

• Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or equivalent communication skills.

• Experience studying or working in Japan, or prior experience working at a Japanese company in a communicator role.

• Familiarity with chat tools and project management tools.

• Ability to submit a CV in Japanese.

• An IT-related degree or certification is preferred.

• Strong English reading and writing skills are an advantage.

• Experience translating and facilitating work communication between Vietnam and Japan is preferred.

Candidates may be required to complete a Japanese language assessment during the first interview round, evaluating Japanese proficiency, translation and communication skills between Japanese and Vietnamese, and practical problem-solving abilities.
