A leading global private banking group is seeking a Head of HR Japan to act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and drive HR initiatives aligned with business growth in Japan. This executive-level role is ideal for an experienced Senior HRBP with strong financial services exposure who can lead key HR priorities including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and governance. You will play a critical role in shaping people strategy while working closely with regional HR teams in a highly international environment.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters in Japan
• Drive HR strategy and execution aligned with business goals and global standards
• Lead employee relations, performance management processes, and talent development initiatives
• Manage annual compensation and benefits reviews, including reward frameworks
• Oversee HR policies, compliance, and governance in line with Japan labor law and internal standards
• Partner with regional HR teams on change management and cross-border HR initiatives

必須条件経験・資格：

• 金融業界（プライベートバンク、銀行・証券・投資銀行・資産運用等）におけるシニアHRBP／人事責任者としての実務経験
• ER、パフォーマンスレビュー、C&B（報酬・福利厚生）関連業務の実務経験
• 日本の労働法や人事慣行に精通していること

• 優れたコミュニケーション能力、対話能力
• ステークホルダーマネジメント（対経営陣・役員含む）
• 幅広い業務をバランスよくこなす判断力、バランス感覚
• 戦略的な視点と、現場に落とし込む実行力を両立できる方
• ガバナンス意識が高く、プロフェッショナルに業務推進できる方

• リージョナル／グローバル規模の人事プロジェクト推進経験

• Proven track record as a Senior HRBP or HR Head within the financial services industry
• Strong hands-on experience in employee relations, performance review cycles, and compensation & benefits
• In-depth understanding of Japan labor laws and HR best practices

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including Board and senior leadership engagement
• Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and partner at executive level
• Ability to operate with professionalism, discretion, and strong governance awareness
