Position:   NPI Engineering Manager (Electronic Manufacturing)

Salary:       70,000 – 100,000THB +/- (Negotiable) 

Location:   Ayuthaya

Our client is big brand Electronic  Manufacturing. 

Key Responsibilities of the position:

• Oversee the entire NPI lifecycle, from prototype/alpha phases through Pilot Run to Full Production.

• Drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews to identify and resolve potential production issues early in the design stage.

Process Development & Validation:

• Manage the development of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes, PCBA assembly, and final box-build integration.

• Lead the PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to mitigate risks during the manufacturing setup.

Tooling & Equipment:

• Coordinate the design and procurement of production jigs, fixtures, and specialized testing equipment (ICT, FCT).

Project Management & Reporting:

• Manage NPI schedules to ensure on-time delivery of samples and pilot runs.

• Report on key NPI metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY), NPI Cycle Time, and Project Costing.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Lead the "Lessons Learned" sessions post-launch to improve future product cycles.

• Oversee machine maintenance coordination and troubleshoot technical issues on the production line.

• Control production costs by optimizing raw material usage and reducing energy consumption.

• Assist in budgeting and CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) planning for new machinery or technology.

Qualifications

• •  Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Experience: 8+ years in Electronic Manufacturing (EMS/OEM), with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role specifically in NPI or Process Engineering.

• Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of HDD, SSD, PCBA manufacturing processes. 

• Yield Improvement.
