A leadership role driving strategic decision making through financial accounting tasks with exposure to FP&A, Internal Control and M&A

Job Description

You will lead or support the Accounting function and support strategic decision making across the business.
This role partners closely with senior management and cross functional teams to drive business performance through budgeting forecasting and financial analysis. You will be exposed to other areas of finance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and/or support AP, AR and GL Accounting tasks.

- Own annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes

- Conduct variance analysis and monitor key financial metrics

- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management

- Perform product level and profitability analysis

-Manage cost allocation and intercompany consistency

- Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives

- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate closing processes

- Drive cross functional financial and operational projects

Requirements

・At least 2 years of accounting experience
・Ability to communicate clearly and work in business Japanese setting.
・Advanced Excel and ERP system skills
・Capability to partner with stakeholders across the organization
 

Preferred Qualifications

・Knowledge of JGAAP and financial regulations
・Experience managing or mentoring team members
・Nishoboki 2nd or CPA.
