PR/118788 | IP Legal Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Trademark Prosecution in Thailand including IP & Trademark Portfolio Management, controlling all IP Processes & filing instructions

• Provide legal consultative advice on matters related to Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, Trade Secrets and IP & IT issues including maximize strategy for the intellectual property portfolio

• Draft and review on Trademark, IP and IT Agreements including Licenses, Assignments and Franchise Agreements

• Support Business Units in identifying and securing IP Rights for New Products, Technologies and Services

• Closely Collaborate with the litigation team on IP Litigation Cases at both pre-trial and trial/appeal stages including handle IP disputes & infringement claims and enforcement actions.

• Develop strategies to mitigate Risks and defend company rights, conduct Legal Research and prepare advice on related areas of law such as advertising, competition/antitrust, data protection, and digital law as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) or Master’s Degree or specialization in Intellectual Property Law preferred

• Hold “a Lawyer License”
• 5 – 9 years of working experience in IP Law and other related legal consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret laws
• Good negotiation & communication & consultative skills, Solid Analytical Thinking, Hands-on, Able to work well both Stand-Alone and as Teamwork
• Fluent command of English
