PR/118658 | Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop Test Solutions: Create and implement comprehensive test plans, methodologies, and test cases for both In-Circuit Test (ICT), Flying Probe Test (FPT), Boundary Scan, and Functional Test (FCT).

• Program & Deploy Test Equipment: Develop and program automated test equipment (ATE) and custom test fixtures/jigs 

• Troubleshoot and Analyze Failures: Conduct in-depth failure analysis and root cause investigation on non-conforming PCBAs to identify component, manufacturing, or design flaws, and drive corrective actions.

• Optimize Design-for-Test (DFT): Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing teams early in the product lifecycle to ensure new PCBA designs are testable and manufacturable (DFM/DFT) with high test coverage.

• Maintain & Calibrate Systems: Manage the maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of all test hardware and software to ensure accuracy and maximize production efficiency/yield.

• Documentation & Reporting: Document detailed test procedures, specifications, and results. Generate reports on test yields, defect trends, and test coverage metrics for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5 years up PCBA test engineer experience
• Knowledge o ICT & FCT set up and maintenance
• Can work at night shift
• Knowledge about machine spare parts safety stock
