Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Japanese Speaking Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified legal professional with bilingual capabilities to work in a dynamic, cross-border legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to Japanese-speaking clients across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.

• Draft, review, and translate legal documents in Japanese and English.

• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and legal counterparts in Japan and internationally.

• Conduct legal research and prepare reports and memoranda.

• Support litigation, arbitration, and negotiation processes.

Qualifications:

• Lawyer license. 

• Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written).

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Strong understanding of Japanese legal and business culture.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working with Japanese clients or in Japan.

• Additional language skills (e.g., Thai, Mandarin) are a plus.

• Background in international law or cross-border transactions.
