About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager or Manager in the Legal department. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in corporate legal affairs, particularly within Japanese companies, and a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate matters, compliance, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across business operations.
• Liaise with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Support cross-functional teams with legal insights for business decisions.
• Handle legal issues related to both B2B and B2C operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting the company.

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold an LLB degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Prior experience working with Japanese companies is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate legal practices, compliance, and governance.
• Proven experience in handling legal matters in both B2B and B2C environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
