Job Title:                 Managing Director (Factory Manager) (Japanese Speaking)

Job Type:                 Full-Time, Monday-Saturday, 08:00-17:00 hrs. (1 time leave for Saturday/month)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily factory operations including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and lead production teams to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with Japanese stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support new product introduction and process development in collaboration with engineering and R&D teams.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development among staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in factory management or production leadership roles, preferably in HVAC or related industriesใ
• Proven experience in managing manufacturing operations involving metal fabrication, assembly, and quality control.
• Language: Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
• Proficient in ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with Japanese stakeholders.
