本ポジションは、ガバナンス、コンプライアンス、クロスボーダー取引を支援し、急成長するEV（電気自動車）およびモビリティソリューションの法務基盤を強化します。契約交渉、規制対応、訴訟・係争処理など幅広い分野に関与し、国際的な環境で法務キャリアをさらに発展させることができます。

日、米またはEUの弁護士資格保有者 優遇。

主な職務内容

• 契約書の作成・レビュー・交渉（日本語＆英語）
• 日本・北米におけるガバナンスおよびコンプライアンス施策の企画・運用支援
• GDPR、CCPAなどのデータ保護規制を中心としたグローバルな法務対応のサポート
• 製造物責任（PL）を含む訴訟・係争案件への対応および外部弁護士との連携
• 取締役会の運営支援、またガバナンス体制・フレームワークの構築に貢献すること
• 社内向け法務トレーニングの企画・実施およびガイドライン・ポリシーの整備
  
  

A new global mobility venture is seeking a Legal Counsel to support governance, compliance, and cross-border operations as the company launches cutting-edge EV and mobility solutions. This role will focus on contract negotiation, regulatory advisory, and dispute management, ensuring compliance with global data protection standards while building governance frameworks to support rapid growth.

• Conduct legal research and draft/review contracts in Japanese and English.
• Advise on governance and compliance initiatives across Japan and North America.
• Support global operations with a focus on data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Manage disputes and litigation, including product liability matters.
• Contribute to board operations and governance framework development.
• Develop internal legal training and guidelines for business teams.

必須条件 経験・資格：

• 企業の法務部、法律事務所、または非営利組織における法務経験5年以上
• データプライバシー・コンプライアンス（特にGDPR）に関する知識
• 商事、企業法務、規制対応における幅広い実務経験

• コミュニケーション能力
• ペースが速く、国際的な環境で効果的・効率的に業務を遂行できること

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：ビジネスレベル以上（契約書のレビュー、海外チームとの連携ができるレベル）
  

• CCPAおよび海外プライバシー規制の知識
• 日本、米国、EUいずれかの弁護士資格
• 日系グローバル企業や多国籍企業におけるガバナンス構築経験

• 5+ years in a company, law firm, or non-profit organization.
• Strong background in data privacy and compliance, particularly GDPR.
• Broad exposure to commercial, corporate, and regulatory law.
• Strong communication skills with ability to operate in fast-paced, cross-border settings.

• Japanese: Native-level proficiency.
• English: Business-level proficiency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCPA and other overseas data privacy frameworks.
• Law qualification in Japan, U.S., or EU.
• Experience building or enhancing governance frameworks in multinational organizations.
