• 顧客に対する自社ソフトウェアの活用支援・サポート、科学的なアドバイスの提供

Join a global leader in computational modeling and scientific innovation as an Applications Scientist based in Tokyo. In this hands-on role, you will support researchers and scientists across industries by helping them utilize advanced simulation software to accelerate materials discovery and solve real-world problems. You will also contribute to scientific research and represent the company through publications and presentations.

• Guide customers in using advanced materials modeling software, providing scientific advice and training

• Assist users with computational setup, simulations, and technical troubleshooting

• Conduct independent research and advise customers on best practices in molecular modeling

• Collaborate across teams such as sales, support, and product development to help drive business goals

• Share research through scientific publications and conference presentations

必須条件

経験・資格：

• 材料科学もしくはその関連分野における分子シミュレーション研究での博士課程修了者
• Pythonのプログラミング
• 分子動力学シミュレーション
• 必要に応じて東京オフィスへ出社可能なこと

語学力：

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル（顧客対応や文書作成ができるレベル）

• PhD in materials science, computational chemistry, or a related field, with a focus on molecular simulation

• Strong knowledge of molecular dynamics simulation

• Programming ability in Python

• Ability to travel to the Tokyo office when necessary

• Japanese: Fluent (required for customer support and internal communication)

• English: Business-level (for documentation, reports, and meetings)

• Excellent communicator and presenter with strong organizational skills

• Self-starter who thrives in cross-functional teams and manages time effectively

• Experience publishing academic papers or speaking at scientific conferences

• Strong customer-facing experience or ability to explain complex topics clearly

• Familiarity with scientific computing environments and modeling software

• Help leading researchers solve real-world materials design problems
