POSITION:            GENERAL MANAGER – Automotive background

BUSINESS:           LOGISTICS MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENTS MANNUFACTURING 

LOCATION:           SAMUT PRAKAN

SALARY:                 200,000 – 250,000 THB

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic GM to lead the setup and operation of a new logistics equipment manufacturing plant. This role requires proven expertise in greenfield/brownfield plant setup, comprehensive P&L management, and strong customer relationship development. An automotive manufacturing background is highly preferred. The GM will oversee the entire plant lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, quality, and profitability.

Responsibility:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of new logistics equipment plant setup and commissioning.

• Assume comprehensive P&L responsibility, driving financial targets and optimizing operational costs.

• Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and support new business development.

• Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring production efficiency and quality standards.

• Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant.

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team.

• Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.

• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities.

• Drive continuous improvement in processes and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (Master's preferred).

• Minimum 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.

• At least 5-7 years in a GM or Plant Manager role.

• Mandatory proven experience in new plant setup (greenfield/brownfield).

• Demonstrated full P&L management with a track record of achieving financial targets.

• Strong experience building relationships with B2B industrial/equipment customers.

• Prior Automotive Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• English & Thai fluency required; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
