Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated FP&A professional to join the Japan Finance team. This role partners closely with business leaders to deliver financial insights, strengthen decision-making, and drive business performance from top line to bottom line.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting

• Track and analyze actuals versus budget, providing commentary and insights to management

• Support annual budgeting and planning processes, including consolidation, review, and reporting

• Partner with business and functional leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization

• Monitor and analyze working capital and cash flow to support business funding needs

• Prepare and submit reports to global headquarters following group guidelines

• Participate in ad hoc financial projects and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience, preferably in a multinational company

• Strong analytical and Excel skills (advanced formulas, tables, graphs); PowerPoint proficiency

• Business-level Japanese and basic English communication skills

• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools a plus

• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (financial accounting background preferred)
