About the Company
Our client is a multinational leader in scientific testing and analytical services, operating across more than 50 countries. The Japan business is expanding rapidly, and they are now looking to strengthen their Finance team with an experienced FP&A Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global organization and play a key role in shaping financial planning and business performance in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities for the Japan entity, ensuring accurate financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.

• Partner with business leaders to provide insights into performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Prepare monthly reporting packages and variance analysis for regional and global stakeholders.

• Drive budgeting and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

• Provide support on investment cases, cost control initiatives, and ad-hoc financial projects.

• Act as a key finance business partner to non-finance departments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Finance experience, with at least 5 years in FP&A.

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.

• Background in multinational companies; experience in life sciences, healthcare, FMCG, or related industries is a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

• Business-level English and Japanese (global communication required).

• Proficiency in ERP and financial tools (SAP, Hyperion, or equivalent preferred).

• A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
