POSITION:            PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER

SALARY:                 50,000 – 80,000 THB

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Production Planning Manager to oversee and optimize our production scheduling and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing production plans, ensuring efficient material flow, and coordinating with various departments to meet production targets and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master Production Scheduling: Develop, implement, and maintain master production schedules (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and resources (manpower, machinery, materials) to ensure optimal utilization and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Oversee MRP processes to ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials and components, minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
• Inventory Management: Manage and optimize inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to balance service levels with inventory costs.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to align production plans with business objectives and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor production progress against schedules, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory turns. Prepare regular reports for management.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization within production planning and inventory control, implementing best practices and lean principles.
• System Utilization: Utilize and optimize ERP/MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and data analysis.
• Forecasting: Contribute to demand forecasting processes to improve accuracy and inform production strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 experience in a Production Planning, Materials Planning, or a similar management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning methodologies and inventory control principles.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for planning and scheduling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in English communication (both written and verbal).
