Position:   Cost Engineer

Salary:       35,000 – 50,000 THB/Month

Location:   Sukhumvit, Bangkok

Responsibilities:

• A Cost Estimator analyses data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to provide a service. Cost Estimators collect and analyze data in order to assess the likely cost of a potential project or service for tender.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data
• Review material and labor requirements to determine whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
• Cost tracking to ensure project execution is within the estimated budget
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services
• Assist compiling commercial proposal

Qualifications:

• Male/Female
• At least 2 years of experience in cost estimation or related field
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
