The Machine Maintenance Manager in a global automotive manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing all aspects of machine maintenance within the production facility. This includes ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all production machinery and equipment. The role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime, maximize efficiency, and control maintenance costs.

Position:                      Maintenance Manager

Salary:                         80,000 – 100,000 THB / month

Location:                      Amata City, Chonburi (Amatanakorn)

Working Day:               Only Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive maintenance plans, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, to ensure maximum equipment uptime and minimize disruptions to production.

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and specialists. Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the department.

• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources for labor, parts, and equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety.

• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines in all maintenance activities.

• Oversee the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of lean principles, root cause analysis, and other problem-solving methodologies.

• Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, resolve issues, and ensure seamless operations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and cost analysis. Prepare regular reports for management on key metrics and trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field with a GPA of 2.80 or above.

• Extensive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment for over 10 years, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Strong knowledge of PLC, maintenance techniques, processes, and equipment used in automotive manufacturing. 

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Good command in English.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
