Position Name: Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary Package: 65,000 - 73,000 THB / month

Location: Banbueng, Chonburi

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the development of both individual parts and complete products, focusing on the mechanical design of equipment.

• Conduct design studies and build mockups to visualize and refine concepts.

• Oversee and validate the construction of prototypes, collaborating closely with the prototype workshop and test laboratory.

• Develop and monitor the cost price of prototypes.

• Independently perform complex technical calculations, or manage and organize such calculations, simulations, and CAE analysis in collaboration with relevant specialists or external subcontractors.

• Analyze the results of calculations and studies and implement necessary corrective actions.

• Collaborate with the Laboratory team on project and part validation processes.

• Create and modify 3D and 2D drawings using Creo Parametric software.

• Develop and revise technical documentation, including model and drawing documentation, bills of materials, and technical specifications.

• Cooperate across all development stages with project teams, both internal and external.

• Support the localization of parts by working closely with sourcing, quality, production, engineering, and all other relevant departments.

• Collaborate with overseas engineering teams on new projects and issue resolution.

• Prepare and submit Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and organize meetings to explain and manage project plans with other departments.

• Ensure projects are completed on time by meeting agreed deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Travel to customer sites as needed to investigate, identify, and resolve unforeseen field issues.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience using 3D modeling software (Creo Parametric preferred).

• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and issue resolution.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Experience in investigating issues and providing engineering data support to other departments.

• Leadership attributes including a drive for results, valuing diversity, and a commitment to technical excellence.

• Strong computer skills.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment, along with good presentation skills.
