Legal Manager - Strategic Global Venture

This is a standout opportunity to join a growing legal team at the heart of a business driving a nationally significant project. The role focuses on contracts and new business development, working closely with commercial teams and external partners in Japan and internationally. You’ll be shaping key partnerships and supporting high-impact business initiatives in a dynamic, forward-looking environment.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Advising business stakeholders on strategic legal matters relating to a global manufacturing venture
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in both Japanese and English
• Leading discussions with external partners
• Proactively identifying and mitigating legal risk to support smooth business execution

Successful candidates will have:

• A strong track record of working in a corporate legal role in-house or with a leading law firm
• Law degree with attorney qualification a plus
• Strong knowledge of legal issues concerning the manufacturing sector (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, written and spoken
• Passion and energy to support a company determined to achieve ambitious targets
