Process Engineer/シニアプロセスエンジニア

Purpose:
To lead a team of engineers to execute process-engineering activities of projects, meeting its quality and schedule requirements.

*Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities*

- Perform process engineering including, but not limited to followings;

• Basic design of process and utility units including process simulations, heat & material balance calculations, process flow development, control scheme preparation, preliminary material selection, etc.
• Detail process engineering including equipment sizing, process data sheet preparation, hydraulic calculation, relief load calculations, safety valve sizing, cause & effect diagram preparation, P&ID development support, safety related study and document preparation, process data for other disciplines design, etc.

- Provide the above engineering deliverables with accuracy, meeting project requirement, the associated code& standards and the local regulation.

- Perform process engineering, on top of above shown, including, but not limited to shown below, in case of assigned as Lead engineer

• Schedule monitoring and control by detail engineering schedule.
• Man-hour monitoring and control.
• Communicate with client, project teams and other discipline members.
• Provide proper guidance to subordinate engineer and review deliverables.
• Execute activities along with design procedure and execution procedure.
• Cooperate with group companies’ engineers to optimize project execution.
• Provide clear report as necessary to project and/or GM/SL/Supervisors.
• Prepare Lessons & Learned after assigned projects.

- Participate process related meetings including process design review, safety design review, start-up, process performance test, etc.

- Contribute to the growth of the organization by accumulating new technical information from licensor, vendor, other organizations, etc.

- Educate subordinates or youth engineers through day-to-day operations.

【業務内容】

- 以下のようなプロセスエンジニアリングを実行

• プロセス シミュレーション、熱および物質収支の計算、プロセス フローの開発、制御スキームの作成、予備材料の選択などを含む、プロセスおよびユーティリティ ユニットの基本設計
• 機器のサイジング、プロセス データ シートの作成、油圧計算、リリーフ ロードの計算、安全弁のサイジング、因果関係図の作成、P&ID 開発サポート、安全関連の調査と文書の作成、他の分野の設計のためのプロセス データなどを含む詳細なプロセス エンジニアリング

- プロジェクト要件、関連するコードや基準、現地の規制を守り、上記のエンジニアリング成果物を正確に提供

- リード エンジニアに任命された場合、上記に加え、以下のようなプロセスエンジニアリングを実行

• 詳細なエンジニアリング スケジュールによるスケジュールの監視と管理
• 工数の監視と管理
• クライアント、プロジェクト チーム、その他の分野のメンバーとのコミュニケーション
• 部下のエンジニアを適切に指導、成果物を確認
• 設計手順、実施手順に沿った活動の実施
• グループ会社のエンジニアと協力し、プロジェクト遂行を最適化
• 必要に応じ、プロジェクトおよび/または GM/SL/スーパーバイザーに明確なレポートを提出
• 担当プロジェクト終了後、教えや学びをまとめる

- プロセス設計レビュー、安全設計レビュー、スタートアップ、プロセス性能試験などを含むプロセス関連の会議に参加

- ライセンサー、ベンダー、その他の組織などから新しい技術情報を収集し、組織の成長に貢献

- 日常業務を通じて部下や若手技術者の育成

*Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies*

- Process engineering skill and knowledge for Hydrocarbon Processing, etc.

- Familiar with process simulation / hydraulic / heat exchanger rating software such as HYSYS, PRO II, HTRI, FLARENET, etc. to execute various process calculations.

- Familiar with Engineering standards such as API, ASME, etc.

*Behavioral Skills / Competencies*

- Communicate clearly and concisely with team members.

- Participate actively in assigned teams and delivers appropriate deliverables.

- Apply high standards to own work and ensure work i in a complete manner within required timeline.

- Take initiative to clarify doubts with lead engineer and other engineering disciplines.

*Qualifications / Certifications*

Capable for communication in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent)

*Preferred*

Bachelor of Engineering or Science (Chemical Engineering is preferable)

*Minimum Years of Relevant Experience*

At least 5 years in execution of process design in plant engineering industry or plant operating company

- 炭化水素処理などのプロセスエンジニアリングスキルと知識を有する

- HYSYS、PRO II、HTRI、FLARENET などのプロセス シミュレーション / 油圧 / 熱交換器評価ソフトウェアに精通し、さまざまなプロセス計算が実行可能

- API、ASME などのエンジニアリング規格に精通

- チーム メンバーと的確なコミュニケーションがとれる

- 担当のチームに積極的に参加し、適切な成果物を作成

- 質の高い仕事をし、要求されたスケジュール内で確実に仕事をこなす能力

- リードエンジニアやその他のエンジニア部門と、率先して疑問を解決
