Senior Legal Manager- Tier 1 International BioPharma

This role covers a broad range of legal and compliance matters, working closely with seniro colleagues. It is an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid-level (pharmaceutical) lawyer to step into a key position within dynamic biotechnology firm, offering meaningful responsibility and strong career development potential.

The main responsibilities are:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents

• Lead legal due diligence on prospective third-party partners and vendors

• Identify potential legal and compliance risks early, conduct targeted legal research, and deliver practical, business-focused solutions

• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters, acting as a trusted strategic partner to the business

Requirements for this role are:

• Solid legal educational background with attorney qualification in Japan or commonwealth jurisdictions
• 6 years + experience in corporate law gained at a major law firm or a reputable company, healthcare industry experience an advantage
• Comfortable handling contracts and agreements in Japanese and English
• Proactive, positive approach to legal services
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
