≪Job Description & Position Highlights≫

• Oversee the entire development process of tread compounds for passenger car and truck/bus tires, from prototyping and evaluation to mass production implementation.
• Contribute to tire performance enhancement and product competitiveness through material research, experimental testing, and data analysis.
• Drive the development of recyclable and renewable materials, contributing to reduced environmental impact and sustainable tire manufacturing.
• Work at an overseas facility in China, leveraging English or Chinese language skills to lead global development projects.

【Job Responsibilities】

• Compound Development & Introduction:
  Develop and introduce competitive PCR and TBR tread compounds (Summer, Winter, and All Season) for applications in accordance with stakeholder (OE, RE, press development teams) requirements.
• Laboratory Research & Data Analysis:
  Design material studies and process studies in the laboratory, and interpret the results in relation to the chemical and physical properties of the materials tested.
• Tire Testing & Correlation:
  Initiate tire building and tire testing for promising compound candidates, analyze results, compare them against requirements, and correlate them with laboratory results.
• Industrialization Support:
  Accompany and support mixing tests and material industrialization at the production location.
• Problem Resolution:
  Support the resolution of compound-related series production and/or quality issues.
• Continuous Improvement & Projects:
  Permanently improve target conflict resolution at thecompound level to enhance competitiveness; participate in project work in the context of chemical compound development.
• Supplier Cooperation:
  Establish close cooperation and technical exchange with raw material suppliers, including trial testing and trial cooperation.
• Sustainability:
  Support Linglong’s sustainability approach regarding recyclable and renewable materials.

【Required Qualifications】

• Master’s degree or above in Polymer Materials, Rubber Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tire compound development, material research, or related fields.
• Professional Skills:
  (1) Proficient in PCR/TBR tire compound design and processes.
  (2) Solid capabilities in laboratory research, Design of Experiments (DOE), and physicochemical analysis.
  (3) Familiar with tire building, testing processes, and data correlation analysis.
  (4) Experienced in material industrialization (mixing) and resolving production/quality issues.
  (5) Knowledge of recyclable, renewable, and sustainable materials in tire applications.
• Fluent in English or Chinese (written and spoken); able to use as a working language for technical communication, reporting, and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Willing to relocate to and work in China.
• Excellent cross-departmental communication, coordination, teamwork, and project management skills.
