Our client is a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, providing advanced process solutions to leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide.
The company develops highly sophisticated equipment used in the production of advanced semiconductor devices and supports customers through a global network of engineering and service organizations.
As part of the continued expansion of semiconductor manufacturing in Europe, the company is strengthening its technical support team in Dresden.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of highly advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer facilities.
You will work closely with both customers and international engineering teams to ensure maximum equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Installation, start-up and qualification of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
Preventive maintenance and repair activities
Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and system-related issues
Equipment upgrades and continuous improvement activities
Root-cause analysis and technical problem solving
Creation of service reports and technical documentation
Close collaboration with customers and global support teams
Compliance with safety and cleanroom standards
- Degree, technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics ,Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Physics, Related Technical Disciplines
Experience in Semiconductor Equipment, Industrial Automation, Precision Machinery, Vacuum Technology,High-Tech Manufacturing Equipment
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and team members.
Willingness to travel and work in shift system
Valid driver’s license
