Job Description
Our client is looking for Quality Control Specialist (QC) to support product development, production control, quality management, and supplier coordination activities for furniture-related products.
Responsibilities
Manage product development processes from sampling stage through mass production
Follow up on samples, materials, specifications, and product requirements
Coordinate with suppliers and factories regarding production and quality requirements
Monitor production schedules and delivery timelines
Conduct quality management and continuous improvement activities
Communicate and collaborate closely with Japan-based teams
Manage shipment arrangements and delivery follow-up
Support supplier relationship management and negotiation activities
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry
Experience in merchandising, production control, quality management, sourcing, or related functions if preferred
Experience coordinating and negotiating with factories and suppliers
Good command of Microsoft Excel and Word
Willingness to travel approximately 3-4 times per month
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above
