PR/160532 | Procurement Executive (Wireharness Manufacturer)

An established wire harness manufacturer in Kedah is looking for Procurement Executive to be part of their team in managing day-to-day purchasing and sourcing task. 

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals to optimize costs and improve quality

• Identify, evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and competitive pricing.

• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective measures.

• Evaluates and monitor supplier quality and delivery performance against corporate zero defects and on time delivery objectives together with smooth logistic requirements and work with related team to improve the performance.

• Process purchase order, track deliveries and ensure that materials are received on time and meet quality standards.

• Understand custom regulations on tariff code & e-invoice requirements

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information and contracts.

• Analyze and provide feedback to appropriate departments on material status/requirements for fulfilling customer demand.

• Work closely with planning team and demand team to learn about actual demand and its fluctuation and proactively work on any change.

• Assist and support in goods receiving & issuing material to production and monthly inventory count      

Job Requirement

• At least 2 years of working experience in procurement role, preferably in manufacturing industry

• Experience handling overseas and local supplier

• Good communication skills and resourceful

• Candidate equipped with custom knowledge is a plus point
