Job Description
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting activities.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements, tax filings, and audit requirements in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while improving accounting processes and internal controls.
- Partner with business stakeholders and regional/global finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/JGAAP/US GAAP), internal controls, and corporate governance requirements.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, USCPA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including team management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, JGAAP, or US GAAP), financial reporting, tax, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with local and regional stakeholders in English and Japanese.
